In many states, hospitals are required to give rape victims the option of EC, and it looks like Wisconsin is about to do the same. Eleven states (CA, IL, MA, NJ, NM, NY, OH, OR, SC, TX, WA) have similar bills. If your state ISN’T among them, contact your representatives and ask, “WHY?!”
Madison – Supporters of a bill that would require hospitals to dispense emergency contraception for sexual assault victims said they have enough votes to adopt the bill in the Assembly this month.
