DENVER – A 20-year-old law student has become a cause célèbre in the anti-abortion movement for her efforts to have the state Constitution define fertilized eggs as people — a tactic spreading nationwide in bids to neutralize the Roe v. Wade decision legalizing abortion.
She. WHAT?
Come ON people, it’s a fertilized egg. I’m not counting this as a person any more than I’m holding a funeral after my period each month.
But aside from that, what about in-vitro fertilization. What about EC? What about Birth Control pills? If we prevent implantation or fertilization, are we stopping human life?
Well, no, we’re not. THINK people.
