This blog isn’t directly related to Emergency Contraception, but it is something important that I care about. And there is a video on contraception. They’re very much for it.
So, earlier today I was just sitting around, mindlessly alternating between checking my email and pretending the show on the Discovery Health Network was at least somewhat amusing, when my friend Ellen sent me an email. This email contained a link. This link contained amusement the likes of which I haven’t known since… November 27th, when my winter break in Williamsburg, Virginia started. But that’s besides the point.
Sex ed in most high schools is a)dull and b)not accurate. Meaning that, even if you are one that manages to stay awake, you’re probably not getting the facts ANYWAY. For those of you sitting there, twirling your promise-ring frantically on your finger and going “Not true!!” you probably aren’t going to like the site I’m going to link you to.
The Midwest Teen Sex Show contains accurate sex education with a hefty dose of snark. It doesn’t contain any porn, though if you’re interested, they sell a shirt that says, “Thanks, Masturbation!”
However, there’s one big thing they’re missing – Emergency Contraception! Write to them, and let them know that you want to see a show on Emergency Contraception.
